Bio: 
Joseph lives and writes in Baltimore, MD. His microfiction work has recently appeared in Lamination Colony, FRiGG, and wigleaf and is forthcoming in Caketrain and Grey Sparrow. Past publications include Mississippi Review Online, Exquisite Corpse, and Smokelong. He has written on art for a variety of magazines and newspapers, and some of this writing can be found on Baltimore Interview.
He is fond of collaboration and has created art exhibitions in concert with visual artists such as Christine Sajecki and Magnolia Laurie. Visit his microfiction blog and his website.

got my hands on it and will be doing a review shortly on my blog. reading it and scorch atlas right now. brain buzzing trying to write legal briefs. thinking of shit that would get me sent to Employee Services if others here knew.
i’m also going to try and do one for the short review, which is odd given that joe is 7 feet tall. joe, we’re not friends are we? I don’t think tania wants friends doing reviews of one another’s work. we were on that flash panel and i’ve seen you around bmore once or twice but you’ve never guided me to a comic book store, and i’d remember if you took me swimming.

Joe Young’s collection is, of course, excellent. If you read it once, you’ll read it twice, at least (I have my sources). Young’s microfictions function like emergency life rafts in that he gets this ostensibly small bit of material into your head and then pulls the cord and something huge unfolds.
Well, I gave that metaphor a good beating.
Anyway, I’m excited to see this book.
